Position Overview

Guardian’s rapid expansion requires an experienced Gutter Technician to support the daily operations of our Gutter department. This position is based in Auburn, WA and will be responsible for commuting to and from job sites throughout our service area. We are seeking a reliable team-oriented technician with a proven track record of stellar work quality and customer service. The Technician will work closely with the Production Manager to support the efficiency of the production department’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a 2-member crew to install gutters and gutter covers to our high standards.
  • Assure Customer Satisfaction by installation of all services correctly the first time. (retrofitting – no new construction)
  • Continue to improve your knowledge and craftsmanship through being open to ongoing training.
  • Remain a dependable employee by being on time to work every day.
  • Have the ability to give recommendations and upsell while you are performing work at a customer’s home (Lead only)

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 to 5 years of Gutter Installation (preferred for Gutter Technician, necessary for Gutter Lead)
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 pounds, and drive for up to 2-hour increments
  • Ability to pass a drug test, physical, and criminal background check (employment is contingent on passing these parameters)

Auburn, WA and varying job sites throughout the Puget Sound area

Guardian is rapidly expanding and needs a highly motivated self-starter to join our production department. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing top level customer service while processing work orders, analyzing job details for accuracy, communicating, and updating clients at all stages of their project, invoicing and collecting, on 40-50 projects per week. The project coordinator serves as the liaison between the customer and production department, where over 30% of our projects are generated from repeat customers and customer referrals. The candidate plays a vital role in impacting our 92% customer satisfaction rate average and more than 1,000 positive reviews on Google.

What We Offer You:

  • Base wages of $28-$34 per hour ($58,000 to $70,000 per year) PLUS

Schedule:

M-F, shift between 8 am to 5:30 pm with the expectation of working up to 8 Saturdays per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule work orders for projects within 48-72 hours from the time the project was sold with attention to detail and revenue goals
  • Maintain a 92% call answer percentage for the production department and calls issued to your phone
  • Update customers regarding scheduling starts, delays, updates, and/or completions daily and at times hourly
  • Follow up with customer concerns, questions and/or problems within 12 hours of notice
  • Collect 90% of all completed projects
  • Maintain 0 open tasks by assuring completion by the due date assigned (assigned to you or that you assigned to a team member)
  • Work directly with the production manager for coordinating change orders, callbacks, warranties, and walkthroughs

Requirements:

  • 2 years of Construction/Labor industry experience required
  • 3 years of customer service experience required
  • 1 year of experience with processing new work orders preferred
  • 1 year of experience managing or coordinating a large volume of active jobs preferred
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English (preferred)

The candidate will be responsible for strategically scheduling opportunities for our Roofing Specialists, which requires attention to detail and the ability to communicate with a diverse clientele effectively. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, goal oriented, have excellent verbal and communication skills, exercise good decision making and will thrive in a team environment.

  • Schedule and convert a high volume of incoming calls to sales opportunities
  • Respond timely to a high volume of web-based leads from assigned platforms (e.g., Yelp, Angies List, etc.) to convert into sales appointments

  • Sell the clients of the Company complete attic insulation systems as well as roofing repairs and maintenance, utilizing the residential sales, measuring and pricing system.

  • As with all employees, you are required to obey all team rules as outlined in the Company Handbook.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in accordance to the cleanliness standards outlined in the Company Handbook and internal paperwork. Additionally, the company vehicle is one of the best billboards at the Company’s disposal. With that in mind, park the truck for the maximum impact of the “billboard” whenever possible.
