The safety of families and homeowners has always been the driving force behind Guardian Roofing & Gutters’ climb to being an industry leader in the Puget Sound Region. And recently, after bringing on a new furry team member, Guardian continues to expand their mission for safety, quality, and service, with Charlie, their certified “Woof” Inspector.
To celebrate Charlie’s arrival, Guardian has partnered with KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM in the Dog Pack Giveaway, a monthly pet photography contest where local pet owners can submit pet pics for the chance to win pet-friendly prizes!
Guardian Roofing & Gutters Owners, Lori & Matt Swanson, adopted Charlie last year, and she’s quickly become a valued member of the team. Since 2005, Guardian has maintained a leadership role in the community, always looking for new ways to give back to the region they call home.
As an example of their dedication to community support, every year since 2019, Guardian’s Halo Project awards a complete roof replacement and or major repair to one local family in need. This year, with the welcome of Charlie, Guardian has expanded their community support efforts with the goal of raising awareness for pet safety, all while having a tail-wagging fun time along the way.
Plus, it’s no secret that Seattle residents love dogs. According to the 2011 Census, there are more dogs in Seattle than there are children (about 153,000 dogs to 107,178 kids). In addition, Seattle is ranked amongst the top dog- friendly cities, with weather being one of the top reasons. Did you know that a Labrador Retriever is the most popular dog in Seattle? Golden Retrievers and French Bulldogs also top the list! Beyond the Puget Sound Region, dog ownership is up year-over-year, with experts noting the pandemic as a significant factor! Pet related industries such as pet-sitting, dog-grooming, and more are also all up year over year!
